About the Role We are on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President to lead our Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team. This pivotal role focuses on the actuarial aspects of modeling and due diligence for our enterprise acquisitions and divestitures. The successful candidate will manage daily project operations, ensuring robust methodological development of projections under various accounting frameworks. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough actuarial and due diligence assessments, evaluating reserve adequacy, and reviewing product and pricing strategies. Determining appropriate assumptions for effective decision-making. Utilizing your experience in M&A transactions, reinsurance, and new initiative modeling to guide strategic efforts. The ideal candidate brings: A minimum of 10 years of actuarial or insurance experience. A strong background in M&A-related work, particularly in the insurance sector. Preferred FSA designation or equivalent expertise. A comprehensive understanding of various valuation methods applicable to insurance companies.
