The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a large, multi-team department, ensuring compliance with the company's policies, and aligning guidelines with relevant sports associations. This role requires the development and promotion of a strategic vision for K-12 athletics programs that enhances equity of access and supports the academic success of students. The Executive Director will also be accountable for the safety and well-being of all students involved in athletic programming and is expected to collaborate with school and community partners to improve academic outcomes through quality athletic programs. Candidates for the Executive Director, Sports Administration position must have a Bachelor's degree in education, sports administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of athletic administration experience or 8 years as a K-12 educator, including 3 years as a Principal or Assistant Principal, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public school laws and policies related to athletics, the ability to lead and manage complex projects, and a proven track record of strategic planning and team building.
