Vice President, PPA Origination About the Company Innovative power producer specializing in utility scale energy storage projects Industry Oil & Energy Type Privately Held About the Role The Vice President of Power Origination will lead the development and execution of the company's power origination strategy, with a focus on expanding the energy storage portfolio. This role involves managing the structuring and negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other key contracts to drive growth. The VP will leverage industry relationships and strategic insights to position the company as a leader in the energy storage market, ensuring the successful development of business opportunities and long-term partnerships. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Energy Management, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree or MBA preferred. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on power origination, energy storage, or related areas. A proven track record in successfully negotiating and closing complex power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other commercial contracts is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the energy storage industry, utilities, and regulatory agencies. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, are critical.
