Summary:

Directs, administers, and coordinates all activities of Strat - Asian Restaurant. Supervises assigned staff in accordance with the departmental table of organization and works with interdepartmental personnel and venue managers to ensure the operational effectiveness of the outlet involving profitability, hours of operation, performance standards, and guest dining experiences.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, developing, and disciplining department staff.

Reviews and researches all department financial reports, including reviewing the monthly profit and loss statements, and prepares the P&L variance report.

Consistently emphasizes staff training to increase guest service standards.

Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures and provides methods to improve efficiency and service.

Formulates training outlines as needed for job standards to ensure all employees understand and have the skills to provide quality internal and external guest service.

Emphasizes developing and training program for management staff.

Ensures management staff follows all company policies and procedures.

Ensures management staff follows guidelines as dictated by culinary contract agreement.

Ensures employee schedules are appropriate for the business volume.

Ensures that the restaurants are clean, organized, and properly functioning and that restaurant equipment is maintained.

Ensures health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed consistently.

Ensures compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position.

Provides outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

At least 3 years of related experience or training in an Asian or fine dining restaurant.

Experience working with collective bargaining agreements is preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and group presentation communication skills.

Ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people.

Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel and various property management systems) with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Bi-lingual in an Asian dialect preferred.

Ability to use chopsticks and familiarity with Asian style food.

At least 21 years of age.

Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.

Verify right to work in the United States.
