SUMMARY
The Sr. National Channel Manager is responsible for the recruitment, training and management of a partner base selling Lingo voice, data, UCaaS, and VoIP products and services, as well as recruiting Value Added Resellers (VARS), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Referral Partners. This role will help drive the company strategy and field action plan required to grow new sales opportunities and expand market adoption of Lingo’s offerings. They ensure the partner base is meeting or exceeding contractual obligations and help develop strategic sales plans to meet or exceed corporate sales goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruits, manages, and grows a base of independent distributors, within a defined geographic territory.
Manages and grows the relationship of subagents within their geographic territory, while keeping a pulse on the master agent to ensure company visibility remains high.
Performs regular in territory visits to master agents, subagents, VARS, as well as prospects for new partners.
Creates and manages teaming events for subagents, master agents within their geographic territory.
Provides the sales management and support necessary to grow the channel's business and achieve or exceed the projected unit, revenue growth and margins as defined by the company's business plan and strategic goals.
Creates and delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with the master or subagents.
Actively recruits commissioned VARS and Referral partners.
Ensures the master and subagents in the field have the proper tools and processes/programs to be successful.
Provides ongoing training and ensures understanding of Lingo products, services, processes and programs.
Works with the subagents to ensure they are positioning Lingo products/services appropriately for each specific customer. Presents Lingo’s product as a solution to customer’s needs.
Books and installs new lines & services to meet established monthly quotas.
Cultivates open and effective lines of communication throughout the organization to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship. Reinforces the company's commitment to excellence.
Engages in competitive intelligence to stay educated on industry trends and proactively communicates this information to marketing.
Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote services.
Day and overnight travel required by air and/or automobile. Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; 5-7 years of successful telecom experience in a Channel Manager role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills and efficient computer skills in MicroSoft Office and SalesForce.com required.
