*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.
The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for developing marketing tactics and executions that further the Samuel Adams brand’s sales efficacy and long-term equity.
The role will report into the Sr. Brand Manager delivering the strategic and tactical assets to develop the brand over the course of a year including Annual Planning, Communication and Campaign assets, Consumer and Retailer Promotional programming development, product development and packaging assets as well as P&L/Budget and operations/inventory management (S&OP support).
What You'll Brew:
Support in the development and implementation of a brand plan for driving sustainable, long-term growth while delivering the budget and strategy for the current fiscal year
Help support the creation of annual strategic and operating plans
Analysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plans
Oversight of the marketing programming by quarter that engages consumers and provides compelling retailer traction that supports distribution and generates display activity and on-premise activation
Manage internal and agency creative with strong briefing that drives cohesive communication for packaging, point of sale, advertising content and digital programming supporting media buys across all channels of media
Project manage cross functional teams in the delivery of all marketing support tactics
Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget
Oversee the development of the seasonal portfolio for specific quarters including any packaging and product related work for main seasonal style, secondary seasonal style, Variety packs and channel extensions
Manage, with partners, the design, procurement, distribution of merchandising materials for a seasonal/quarterly program
Support the brand at events, promotional activities, sales meetings
Generate selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to support brand initiatives
Generate creative ideas that support brand needs that gain consumer and customer traction
Occasional travel for meetings and trainings

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
2+ years experience in a results-oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven organization
Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning
Experience in developing consumer marketing communications
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value and provide action-oriented recommendations in-line with business objectives
Demonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiatives
Inter-personal and communication skills
Highly organized, flexible, self-motivated and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree or MBA preferred
Other business-discipline work experiences a benefit (Insights, Business Analysis, Finance, Sales, etc.)
Experience working with sales team
Beverage industry or traditional CPG experience
Level: 7
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $51,000 and $104,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
