A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.
The Marketing Specialist helps launch product line extensions, marketing tactics and executions that further the brand's growth and long-term equity. The role will deliver the product oriented tactical assets related to product launches, Product/Packaging line extensions across relevant classes of trade (including Club, Grocery, Gas & Convenience, etc.) Product/Retailer point-of-sale, and P&L/Budget support.
What You'll Brew:
Help ideate and execute new flavors & product launches to help us continue to reach and engage drinkers across the US. Execute the development of the product/packaging line extensions and limited time releases to help the brand reach new consumers or drinking occasions. Lead competitive intelligence tracking and sourcing to ensure we continue to deliver the best tasting, most innovative products to drinkers. Help keep the team organized and running smoothly; you will manage the day-to-day of year-round brands, innovation and some programs including but not limited to presentations/decks, scopes for new projects/products, meeting management, PO management, POS inventory management, weekly sales updates, etc. Analysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plans. Generate selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to support brand initiatives. This could include Sell Sheets, Point of Sale, Merchandising, Packaging, etc. Project manage cross functional teams in the delivery of product launches and associated support tactics. Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget. Manage, with partners, the design, procurement, distribution of merchandising materials for a seasonal/quarterly program. Support the brand at events, promotional activities, sales meetings as needed. Overall: helping to drive the team and brand relevance in the marketplace by contributing to best-in-class execution while bringing your creativity to the table and contributing as a partner on the brand. Occasional travel for meetings and trainings.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 1 year experience in a results-oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven firm, beverage or traditional CPG company. Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning. Experience in developing consumer marketing communications.
Skills:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value and provide action-oriented recommendations in-line with business objectives. Demonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiatives. Must have proven inter-personal and communication skills. Must be highly organized, flexible, self-motivated and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Other business-discipline work experiences a benefit (Insights, Business Analysis, Finance, Sales, etc.).

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $40,800 and $88,400. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
