Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor
Location: San Jose, CA (Grave Shift – 2200-0630)
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
GSOC Supervisor
to lead and oversee our Global Security Operations Center, driving service excellence and ensuring the safety of both personnel and assets worldwide. The ideal candidate will bring corporate experience, a deep understanding of GSOC operations, and proven leadership in managing security incidents, operational tactics, and crisis management workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
Oversee GSOC staff, ensuring optimal performance through effective time management, training, and team development. Provide leadership for managing regional considerations and operational tactics to maintain security standards globally.
Service Delivery & Collaboration:
Collaborate with various teams, including Human Resources, Legal, Networking, and Facilities, to ensure cohesive and effective security operations. A deep understanding of the role of Global Safety & Security in these partnerships is essential.
Operational Oversight:
Drive service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) across functions such as alarm management, case management, and geopolitical risk assessments. Ensure that all staff adhere to program initiatives and standards.
Crisis Management & Geopolitical Risk Assessment:
Lead and support the Crisis Management Team during high-impact events, including natural disasters, misconduct cases, travel-related incidents, and emergency response. Monitor and address potential security incidents and compliance issues both domestically and internationally.
Incident Management & Reporting:
Conduct investigations, compile formal reports, and provide recommendations to senior Corporate Security Management. Ensure proper monitoring and escalation of security incidents, utilizing physical security access control systems and appropriate workflows.
Qualifications
Corporate Experience (3-5 Years):
Previous experience in corporate environments where managing diverse workloads, pressures, and internal partnerships is critical.
GSOC Expertise:
A solid understanding of GSOC operations and the ability to manage the workload, nuances, and demands of supporting a global security program.
Service Level & KPI Management:
Demonstrated experience driving SLAs and KPIs, ensuring adherence to program standards across security functions.
Crisis Management Proficiency:
Proven experience supporting geopolitical risk assessments and managing crisis workflows in high-impact situations.
Physical Security Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with various access control systems and their use in managing and escalating security incidents.
Reporting & Investigation:
Expertise in conducting thorough investigations, compiling reports, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

$40.00/hour
