What You'll Bring: 5+ years of security experience in government, corporate, or a mix of both environments Demonstrated experience in global security operations center, investigation, physical security, event security, threat management, and global intelligence A strong network of corporate and government security contacts and intelligence resources (Including local and federal law enforcement intelligence community, Federal Bureau of Investigation, CIA, Homeland Security, Secret Service, State Department Diplomatic Service, joint terrorism task forces, etc.) Experience in crisis management and other resilience business continuity programs The ability to travel, within and outside of the United States, up to 25% of the time Eligibility for issuance of a U.S. Government security clearance Experience with Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Impact You'll Make: Assisting the Director of Global Security with the evolvement and day-to-day management of TransUnion Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Physical investigation, and Risk management, which includes the enterprise-wide global security strategy and program. Lead Global Security management responsibilities while also being accountable for activities such as expanding capabilities and impact of the 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), vendor governance, and direct contract lead supervision. Accountable for the management of assigned and implied contingency planning, monitoring global events and business travelers, and being prepared to respond to any crisis or unanticipated incident to help employees, projects, or other departments, utilizing GSOC plans, processes, and capabilities. Serve as a liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement, the military, and other governmental departments and intelligence sources tasked with safety and security. Conduct domestic and global company-related investigations. Write reports and maintain an incident database. Demonstrate exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Adapt standards and design compensating controls to work within local laws and regulations for various domestic and international jurisdictions. Periodic travel (up to 25%) to company and 3rd party locations, in rare cases with minimal notice, is required, including some international travel. Ability and willingness to be on call 24/7 to respond to company-related security emergencies and to travel domestically and internationally, as needed. Demonstrated experience and exposure in the domestic and international security arena dealing with and managing security-related issues. Develop, rehearse, and modify all associated security, crisis, and emergency plans across the region. Conduct investigations into security and safety incidents at assigned sites to include, but not limited to fraud, theft, burglary, assault, safety incidents – including interviews, CCTV review, and appropriate documentation. Support new building openings by providing risk assessments, reviewing design drawings, and ensuring physical security concepts and support are enabled for the site, additionally providing onsite quality control work and managing new vendor installations. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
