Contracts Manager

Converged Security Solutions is seeking a talented individual to step into the role of Contracts Manager, where you will take on a pivotal position providing oversight, leadership, and expert contract management for a diverse portfolio of Government and Commercial contracts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the seamless execution and fulfillment of these contracts, showcasing your ability to navigate complex agreements with finesse and accuracy.This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Reston, VA.
Responsibilities:Provides oversight, leadership, and contract management for a large portfolio of Government and Commercial contracts.Provides problem resolution and counseling to executive level management on strategic and complex contractual issues and partners with executive-level leadership to ensure balance of risk and business opportunity.Leads, develops, reviews, and negotiates all contractual documents including non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements and modifications, Joint Venture agreements, prime contracts and modifications, consultant agreements, and commercial agreements.Supports program management reviews, business strategy sessions, risk management activities, and all other contract-related matters.Develops significant working relationships with key Government stakeholders at senior levels.Mentors and provides guidance to junior contracts professionals.Reviews, analyzes, and interprets solicitation documents and contract terms and conditions for risk and acceptability, providing inputs, proposal strategies, and review of proposals in close coordination with the Capture Team in compliance with requirements, applicable standards, or regulations.Supports compliance for corporate risk management to include OCI sweeps and identification of bid/proposal risk and mitigation strategies.Supports and leads audits and other corporate compliance activities (ISO, CMMI, GSA).Serves as the main point of contact for internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems.Develops scalable and sustainable contract operations processes, programs, and tools to support company growth.Supports cross-functional teams including Operations, Program Management, Finance, and works closely with outside legal counsel as necessary for complex issues.Organizes and maintains thorough repositories for all contractual documents that are audit-ready.Submits required reports including subcontracting reports and contract-specific deliverables and familiarity with Government systems such as SAM.gov, eSRS, GSA eMOD, ASSIST, eGOS, and Seaport NxG.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Business or Accounting.10 years of experience in Contract Administration and Contract Negotiation.5 years of experience with all contract types including Fixed-Price, T&M, cost reimbursable, Agency IDIQs, GWACS, CTAs, GSA MAS, and Joint Ventures.5 years of experience supporting Joint Ventures, SBA Mentor Protégé program, Contractor Teaming Arrangements (CTAs) to include documentation and familiarity with Small Business Regulations (CFR).5 years of experience managing a dispersed team of contracting professionals at varying levels.5 years of staff management experience, to include annual performance evaluations, ability to adjust staffing levels and workload, strong skills assessment, and mentoring.5 years of experience and advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS and Agency specific regulations as well as relevant laws, regulations, terms, and conditions.5 years of in-depth working experience with the federal acquisition lifecycle process; to include market research, request for information (RFI), Sources Sought Notice (SSN), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and contracting policies.5 years of comprehensive experience with the Government subcontracting lifecycle to include selection, evaluation, award, and closeout of subcontracts.Preferred Experience:8 years of experience with all contract types including Fixed-Price, T&M, cost reimbursable, Agency IDIQs, GWACS, CTAs, GSA MAS, and Joint Ventures.8 years of staff management experience, to include annual performance evaluations, ability to adjust staffing levels and workload, strong skills assessment, and mentoring.8 years of experience and advanced knowledge of FAR/DFARS and Agency specific regulations as well as relevant laws, regulations, terms, and conditions.8 years of in-depth working experience with the federal acquisition lifecycle process; to include market research, request for information (RFI), Sources Sought Notice (SSN), Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and contracting policies.NCMA certification (CPCM, CFCM, CCCM) a plus.Proposal pricing and Business Volume experience a plus.Experience with ISO and CMMI quality frameworks a plus.Working experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, time management skills, and attention to detail/organization.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels.Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-moving environment to include leading multiple contracting divisions supporting unique customer bases supporting a wide range of contract types and customers.Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and have demonstrated problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe including editing functions and MS SharePoint.
