Northwell Health is seeking a
Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology
at Northwell Health, who will also serve as
Chief, Radiology at Cohen's Children’s Medical Center . This is a unique career opportunity to lead a thriving academic radiology department in one of the nation’s largest health systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O degree and be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology, CAQ certified and qualified for licensure in New York.
Expertise in all areas of Pediatric Radiology (except Neuroradiology) is a must.
Ideal candidates will be at the associate or full professor level with appropriate leadership and clinical experience.
The Pediatric Radiology division is a growing group of 5 dedicated pediatric radiologists. There are two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two new Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy units, and 3 ultrasound suites. There are Pediatric Ultrasound technologists available 24 hours a day. A new separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division has also been established, which includes two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists.

The Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) of New York is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital performing approximately 70,000 examinations a year. It is the largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State and serves 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk counties. There is a new inpatient hospital with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department. It is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. There is a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
