About the Role: In this role as a Business Operations Strategist, you’ll play a pivotal part supporting our Federal government client. Your day-to-day will involve business operations support that leans heavily on your analytical and project management skills. You’ll bring your seasoned experience and strategic approach to the table, engaging directly with senior officials, ensuring your efforts have a direct impact on key initiatives of a high-visibility government program. Key Responsibilities include

(but are not limited to): Develop comprehensive business strategies to advance the client’s objectives, ensuring they are data-driven and actionable. Craft collaborative strategies across departments and advise on long-term goals that are in sync with government policies and mandates. Evaluate and improve existing business processes to eliminate inefficiencies. Develop and enforce best practices for process management, and regularly report on the progress of optimization initiatives. Utilize performance metrics to offer actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making, enhancing operational effectiveness for senior officials. Effectively communicate business strategies and their impact, building and nurturing strong relationships with government officials and key partners. Identify and integrate stakeholder needs into business operations planning, acting as a critical liaison to ensure the alignment of client initiatives with stakeholder interests. Analyze resource utilization to pinpoint efficiency improvements and facilitate cross-departmental sharing to enhance overall project performance. Facilitate project meetings to foster communication and keep tasks aligned, and track project outcomes against set objectives to evaluate success and guide future strategies. Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner. Provide regular updates on project status, fostering transparency and accountability. Respond to client inquiries and concerns swiftly to ensure high client satisfaction levels. Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive. Location: You will work a hybrid schedule, going to the Washington, DC client office twice a week at minimum. Required Experience/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. 7+ years of professional experience or 5+ with a Master’s degree. 5+ years with business strategy development and operational planning. 3+ years in government sector project management. Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools. Ability to use project management software like Microsoft Project or Asana. Knowledge of government policy and regulatory environments. Skilled in developing and tracking performance metrics. Experience with planning tools for strategic business operations. Competence in stakeholder analysis and needs integration. Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship. Preferred Experience/Skills: Experience in a science or Research & Development environment. Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, or relevant field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
