Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Commercial Tradesman Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing skilled tradespeople in various commercial construction roles. This position requires the recruiter to identify and attract qualified candidates for positions such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, carpenters, and other trades within the commercial construction industry. The recruiter must maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understand labor needs, and ensure a seamless hiring process. Proficiency in managing high-volume recruitment, conducting interviews, and handling onboarding processes is essential. Excellent communication skills, particularly with candidates and managers, are critical to filling positions in a timely and efficient manner.
JOB DUTIES:
- Follow client guidelines to source candidates for position openings.
- Conduct interviews to identify candidates.
- Place job postings via online career pages, job boards, etc.
- Screen resumes and applications.
- Update account managers on hiring status.
- Enter applicant data into ATS.
- Resolve employee issues in a quick and timely manner.
- Terminate employees while following company guidelines.
- All other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in staffing or similar.
- Knowledge of HR procedures.
- Effectively communicate in both English and Spanish (Preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews, and group interviews.
- Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with PCs and MS Office.
