We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Controller to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. This role requires a professional with a strong accounting background and hands-on experience with NetSuite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing insights that drive our organization's financial health. This position offers flexibility, ideal for a seasoned financial professional looking to work part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage financial transactions, month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts, financial reports, and budgets.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
