Responsibilities

A Cashier contributes to AHF by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate, courteous and efficient shopping and checkout experiences to customers, and actively contributing to the overall success and reputation AHF.

A Cashier enhances the reputation of AHF by consistently providing friendly, reliable, efficient and courteous service to all customers; creating a welcoming atmosphere; ensuring precise and error free transactions; being well-versed in product offerings; working seamlessly with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and harmonious work environment; being adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed for the marketplace, including helping with inventory counts and maintinging clean and organized spaces; contributing to reduction in loss due to errors or theft by adhering to best practices in cash handling and all other security protocols;and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the marketplace positively in the community.

The Cashier will work as a part of a close-knit team to ensure that the marketplace provides exceptional service to our patrons. The team member will communicate, transition, and be flexible as needed in this role.
