We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is primarily focused on administrative tasks within the company, where the professional will be responsible for maintaining functional operations, supporting customer service, and handling clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient data entry of member information
• Handling client inquiries and resolving issues as they arise
• Assisting in maintaining accurate customer records and monitoring customer accounts
• Conducting clerical duties, including filing and documentation tasks
• Answering phones and providing professional customer support
• Coordinating with the team to ensure smooth workflow
• Learning and utilizing the company's specific system for data entry tasks
• Ensuring a professional presence in person and over the phone
• Occasionally undertaking physical tasks such as filing and project execution, with no heavy lifting involved
• Upholding the company's dress code and maintaining a presentable appearance in the workplace.• Must have at least one year of experience in an Administrative Assistant role or similar
• Proficiency in performing administrative assistance tasks is required
• Demonstrated experience in handling clerical duties
• Proficient in using and managing multi-line phone systems
• Strong customer support skills
• Experience with data entry tasks
• Proven ability in managing filing systems effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, further education in Business Administration or related field will be considered a plus.
