We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, located in Long Beach, California. This role entails a combination of administrative tasks, data entry, and office duties, with an emphasis on assisting with payroll preparation.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the preparation of payroll, although not directly involved in executing payroll tasks
• Carrying out administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
• Undertaking data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Using data entry skills to maintain and update computer data systems
• Utilizing administrative assistance skills to support the team and office operations
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records.• Proficiency in Data Entry is required
• Strong skills in Computer Data Entry are essential
• Previous experience in Administrative Assistance is necessary
• Expertise in Administrative Office procedures is a must
• Knowledge of Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry is beneficial
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
