Job Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Administrative Assistant, you will predominantly work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will be involved in a variety of administrative tasks, including technical tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and will work alongside the Director of Law and Policy.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Director of Law and Policy in various administrative tasks
• Scheduling and organizing virtual meetings
• Sending and following up on meeting notices
• Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and notes
• Handling correspondence with board members on behalf of the Director
• Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for various tasks
• Possible engagement in a quick teams call with the hiring manager before starting
• Leveraging skills in customer service, data entry, and inbound and outbound calls
• Keeping track of customer accounts and carrying out necessary actions
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining precise customer credit records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Proven experience in customer service
• Strong data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls professionally
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
