We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in STORRS, Connecticut. This role is centered around the efficient processing of customer applications, the maintenance of accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Furthermore, the role involves the monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering inbound calls and directing them to the correct person
• Managing the inventory of office and first aid supplies
• Distributing small equipment as per requirement
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word to handle data entry and email correspondence
• Ensuring all dining services have adequate food and services
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Providing excellent customer service and handling inbound and outbound calls
• Scheduling appointments as necessary
• Filing and copying documents in an organized manner.• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls is essential.
• Should have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be capable of performing data entry tasks with high accuracy.
• Should be able to manage email correspondence effectively.
• Must have the ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars.
• Should possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Should display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience in an administrative role would be beneficial.
• Should have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must have a problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education would be a plus.
• Should have a flexible attitude towards work, able to adapt to changing requirements.
