Job Description
We are seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Austin, Texas. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth sales operations, providing key customer service, and supporting sales efforts to help drive continued growth for the organization.
Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain customer data.
• Support customer service and order fulfillment by entering customer orders and communicating with customers on the status of orders
• Coordinate efforts to resolve issues within the organization related to customer orders
• Review and manage inventory from multiple geographic locations for customer orders and demands
• Maintain accuracy of customer database within ERP system and Contract Management Database
• Obtain and maintain accurate customer pricelists with ERP system and document control
• Candidate must possess skills in answering inbound and outbound calls efficiently• Proficiency in providing outstanding customer service is required
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with email correspondence in a professional setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Capability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure are important
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
