We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry/Administrative Assistant with experience and a keen understanding of Excel, Windows, and Outlook. This role will involve timecard management, Excel data entry, and occasional interactions with technicians and new hires. This role is available on a contract-to-hire basis!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and input data related to employee timecards using our ePay system.
- Investigate and search through emails for timecards, primarily using Microsoft Excel.
- Interact with technicians occasionally to resolve timecard or Workforce Management proof submission issues, primarily through our text messaging system.
- Guide new hires, on rare occasions, through the i-9 process over the phone.
- Maintain and update records with a high attention to detail, ensuring all Excel data entries are accurate and not altering pre-existing formulas.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, Windows, and Outlook is a must.
- Experience in data entry, administration, or a related role.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a willingness to speak up when something doesn't work.
- An intuitive nature and willingness to learn new systems.
The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive learner who is not afraid to say something when a process doesn't seem to be working. This person will be attentive, responsible, capable of working with minimal supervision, and ready to take on the tasks at hand.
