Manay CPA is hiring for one of our esteemed Partners, Ambrosia Luxury Travel, a premier travel agency based in Turkey, specializing in promoting Turkey and its surrounding regions as a luxury travel destination. Dorak USA, on the other hand, focuses on group and mass business travel arrangements. Both companies are dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences and promoting Turkey as a top-tier destination.
Position Overview:
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in North America. This role requires a dynamic individual with experience in both luxury travel and group/mass business segments. As a remote position, you will collaborate closely with teams based in Turkey. The position requires travel to attend tradeshows, events, and sales calls with key contacts and prospect accounts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Identify target markets, key accounts, and industry segments to maximize business opportunities and revenue growth. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate clients. Negotiate and establish favorable terms and agreements with partners to enhance service offerings and competitiveness in the market. Lead sales efforts to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts in both luxury and group/mass business segments. Conduct sales calls, presentations, and meetings with key and prospect contacts to promote services and secure business opportunities. Represent the companies at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events to showcase services, network with potential clients, and stay updated on industry trends. Organize and coordinate participation in events, including logistics, marketing materials, and promotional activities. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess business performance and inform strategic decision-making. Other duties within the scope of the position may be required from time to time. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA preferred. Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the luxury travel and group/mass business segments. Strong understanding of the United States travel market, with experience in promoting destination-based travel services. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and remotely while delivering against targets. Willingness to travel for tradeshows, events, and client meetings as required. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Turkish or other languages is a plus. Candidates must sit in EST.
