Job Summary:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all processes and systems are running smoothly and efficiently. The role involves managing various operational departments, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, technology, and operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy:
Implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with executive management team to set performance goals and metrics for the operations team.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of operations managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve the quality-of-service delivery.
Oversee the development and implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.
Ensure that all operational processes are documented, standardized, and adhered to across the organization.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
Oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Manage relationships with key vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure that they meet performance expectations and deliver value to the organization.
Budget Management:
Manage the operations budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and within budget constraints.
Monitor and report on operational performance against budget, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency gains.
Customer Experience:
Ensure that operational processes support a high level of customer satisfaction and that any operational issues impacting customers are promptly addressed.
Collaborate with the customer service team to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
Reporting & Analytics:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, providing regular reports to executive management.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in operations management, with a significant portion in the financial services or FinTech industry.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong background in process optimization, risk management, and compliance.
Skills:
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of financial services operations, including regulatory requirements.
Proficient in the use of technology and software tools to manage operations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in operations management, project management (e.g., PMP), or financial services are a plus.

$105,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
