Escrow Assistant/Administrative Assistant
If you are highly motivated, hard-working and pride yourself in being both detail oriented and passionate about customer service then we want to speak with you! We are looking for a growth oriented and experienced Escrow Assistant/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team in Anacortes, WA.
Responsibilities
Providing a stellar customer service experience working directly with realtors, lenders, borrowers, buyers and sellers during all facets of the closing experience.
Reviewing the real estate purchase and sale agreement, making sure it is complete and requesting any missing information.
Preparing and reviewing settlement statements.
Monitoring the closing dates/timelines.
Conducting signing appointments as needed.
Responding in a timely, professional and courteous manner to any customer inquiries.
Ensuring that all necessary information has been ordered and is accurate, and reviewing information for completeness and compliance and that the file is ready to close in a timely manner.
Ensuring that title issues are resolved and files are properly balanced prior to closing.
Preparing opening title & escrow paperwork and clearing title.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry players that encourage them to choose us as their first choice for title and escrow processing
Requirements
Patient, organized, detail oriented, multi-tasker, strong communicator, professional demeanor.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be eligible to be a Notary Public.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly learn industry software programs.
Keyboarding speed of 40-50 WPM.
One to four years of escrow processing, mortgage lending, paralegal, or similar experience preferred but not required.
Real estate industry experience in the areas of title, escrow, real estate or property management preferred.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, prorations, taxes, volume.
Delivery of commission checks, mail, daily deposits.
Must have a valid WA State driver license.
