We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Conversion Strategy & eCommerce to drive our growth, innovation, and impact in both B2B and B2C markets.

As our

Director, Conversion Strategy & E-commerce , you will develop and execute data-driven strategies to optimize our online store, improve conversion rates, and drive significant revenue growth across multiple selling channels. You will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of customer behavior, leadership exposure, and a passion for leveraging data, financial models, and new technical platforms to create a seamless and compelling shopping experience. Be the cross-collaboration lead of our e-commerce team to promote the strategic priorities of Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, IT, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Conversion leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive conversion optimization strategies across all customer journey stages, from initial awareness to purchase and post-purchase engagement. Turn curious browsers into loyal customers, boosting the "middle-to-bottom" funnel to ultimately drive sales across B2B and B2C platforms.

Team management:

Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team of eCommerce and digital marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve individual growth and team goals. Establish efficient ways of working within the Agile framework and build on the team's strengths.

Data-driven optimization:

Utilize analytics and user data to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and execute A/B testing, personalization strategies, and funnel optimization initiatives for continual conversion downstream. Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand pain points and preferences. Apply insights to enhance the customer journey, website experience, and improve conversion rates.

Collaborate cross-functionally:

Work hand-in-hand with IT, marketing, finance, merchandising, and product teams (like playground, technology, curriculum/assessment), ensuring alignment of eCommerce strategies and overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.

Stay innovative:

Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest e-commerce trends, tools, and strategies to continually optimize and find efficiencies.

Track your impact:

Measure the success of your strategies, report on your wins (and learn from your losses), and share with stakeholders the results achieved and the downstream impact to the larger business objectives and budget allocation.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

This role requires a deep understanding of eCommerce dynamics, a proven track record in both B2B and B2C environments, and a passion for improving the lives of children and educators in the early childhood industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in eCommerce or a similar role, with a focus on conversion strategy, technical integrations, managerial leadership, and digital marketing.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, manage cross-functional projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics, using tools such as Google Analytics, Lucky Orange, A/B testing, CRM systems, and eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.)

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to present and manage complex ideas and competing priorities clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, while keeping a pulse check "in the weeds".

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in eCommerce a plus.
