Job Description - Director, International Tax and Global Transfer Pricing (0032461) Worker Location:

On-Site Description The purpose of the Director, International Tax and Global Transfer Pricing is to direct and oversee U.S. international tax planning and repatriation transactions and oversee the U.S. international tax compliance outsourcing engagement. This position will be the primary point of contact for the global organization to consult on U.S. international tax implications of global business transactions and global transfer pricing matters. Making an Impact Assist VP, Global Tax with global strategy to minimize international income taxes. Lead strategic initiatives that result in income tax savings, create shareholder value, and all aspects of global transfer pricing planning and compliance. Engage internal and external department members, manage conflict, drive performance, integrity, and results. Oversee and support non-U.S. audit and transfer pricing defense and works closely with the Director, European Tax. Work closely with the Director, Global Reporting and Americas Tax Leader to review and provide input into the international tax components of the quarterly and annual SEC reporting. Manage external advisors responsible for completion of U.S. International income tax filings and global transfer price filing and reports. Interact closely as a Leader with ManpowerGroup’s non-U.S. controllers and finance directors and collaborate closely with International Accounting and Global Treasury on Global Finance initiatives that benefit the Company. Sharing Expertise Manage and develop two International Senior Tax Accountants. Manage and develop Global Tax team’s knowledge U.S. international tax and transfer pricing concepts. Support development of business strategy as identified by lead team. Participate in annual planning process. Develop action plans and strategic direction for assigned functional areas. Manage staff in meeting specified goals and objectives of department. Recommend and implement programs/practices, which fit company goals and culture. Able to propose strategic recommendations for the most complex areas of function. Lead the evaluation and analysis of U.S. international, APME Region, and other KLT country’s tax and transfer pricing legislative changes and requirements. Gaining Exposure Actively engage with APME country and regional finance leaders on income tax compliance, accounting, planning and controversy matters. Develop, own and execute project work plans involving internal and external stakeholders, which requires strong communication skills, acute problem-solving, ability to quickly adapt, and occasional conflict management. Enable Global Tax as an effective business partner with Global operations by communicating frequently with U.S. and International Accounting teams and certain non-U.S. Countries. Interact with external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews on international tax accounting matters. Your Typical Day Work location will primarily be Corporate HQ in Milwaukee, WI. International travel less than 10% of time. Cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional communication and collaboration to advance strategy and goals. Quarterly and annual tax reporting responsibilities which are impacted by day-to-day projects and decisions. Primary tools used are Hyperion Financial Management software, Microsoft Office and OneSource Tax Provision and Tax Compliance. Other accountabilities as assigned Qualifications Required Extensive knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing principles. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 10+ years of experience in Tax field, with at least 5 years in international tax. Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or global publicly traded organization. Experience with US GAAP tax accounting principles and SEC reporting. Nice to Have CPA. Advanced tax degree.
