Data Analyst Benefits and Compensation :
A professional, collaborative working environment GREAT leadership and high visibility TERRIFIC career growth potential Healthcare benefits, 401(k), PTO, etc. Highly competitive compensation of $50,000 - $55,000, plus bonus potential! Data Analyst Job Duties:
Support the tax team with regular reviews and updates of financial data. Monitor and analyze trends to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in financial data. Perform in-depth research to maintain compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Assist in preparing reports summarizing tax data and compliance updates. Support the Tax Manager with data entry, data analysis, and tax compliance. Ensure timely updates to systems in response to changes in tax policies or laws. Participate in the implementation of new procedures to enhance data accuracy. Support the documentation of processes to improve compliance and efficiency. Assist in preparing for external audits by organizing and validating tax records. Contribute to developing training materials to help team members stay informed on tax updates. Data Analyst Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Accounting preferred Extreme proficiency in Excel and data manipulation Ability to handle large datasets and spreadsheets Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax/accounting or a related field Sales tax experience a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment Computer literacy and ability to pick up new skills quickly Must possess solid critical thinking skills and the ability to successfully work independently Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and work within tight deadlines Superb attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communications skills required
