The Vice President of Quality and Compliance is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing the strategic direction and execution of all quality and compliance initiatives within the organization. This role ensures that the company adheres to all regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices to maintain the highest level of quality, integrity, and operational efficiency. The VP will collaborate across departments, working closely with all stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, while mitigating risks and enhancing client outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Strategy

Develop and execute a comprehensive quality and compliance strategy across all states and service lines that aligns with Abound’s mission to provide the highest quality service to our clients and patients. Provide Quality leadership across the organization fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence. Collaborate with the Clinical team to ensure quality and compliance objectives are embedded in all business operations. 2. Quality Management

Establish metrics and monitor performance to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained across all services and geographies. Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement programs, process improvement initiatives, and corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards (e.g., HIPAA, etc.) and drive certification processes where necessary. Oversee internal and external audits, assessments, and reviews of internal processes and services to ensure consistent quality and adherence to regulatory requirements. 3. Regulatory Compliance

Stay current with all relevant laws, MCO and state regulations, and industry standards affecting the company’s operations. Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and controls to meet regulatory requirements. Manage internal and external compliance audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections. Collaborate with legal teams and external consultants to address any compliance issues and ensure timely resolution. Oversee accreditation processes ensuring all necessary documentation, standards, and protocols are met to achieve and maintain accreditation status with relevant agencies. Develop and manage a risk management framework to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to quality and compliance. Implement systems and tools for continuous monitoring of compliance-related activities and adherence to regulations. Create action plans to address compliance gaps and potential risks, ensuring swift corrective action. 4. Training and Communication

Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements, quality standards, and risk management practices. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to reinforce a culture of compliance and quality excellence. Lead efforts to foster awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical business practices throughout the organization. 5. Reporting and Analytics

Oversee the reporting of quality and compliance metrics, ensuring transparency and timely updates to the leadership team and board of directors. Utilize data-driven insights to improve processes and outcomes, implementing corrective measures when needed. 6. Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Quality and Compliance team, ensuring proper resource allocation, professional growth, and succession planning. Foster cross-functional collaboration between departments to ensure quality and compliance objectives are integrated into daily operations. Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Quality Assurance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience:

10+ years of experience in a leadership role related to healthcare operations, quality, compliance, or regulatory affairs, preferably in healthcare. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality management systems, and risk management practices. Proven experience in driving organizational change, quality improvement, and operational excellence.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to implement data collection strategies and monitor KPIs.
