We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role is focused on supporting the existing application suites and testing new releases in the technology industry. The Business Analyst will be expected to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and provide training and support as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the maintenance and support of current software applications and future applications
• Conduct activities through the software development life cycle, including testing and implementing software updates, maintaining and enhancing applications over time
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about various applications and/or system enhancements to improve business processes, overcome known problems or further fulfill user requests
• Provide training to users, create and maintain supplemental materials, and resolve elevated questions originating through the help desk
• Identify issues and risks through demonstrations and testing, track, report, and resolve or mitigate in a timely manner
• Handle problem situations professionally and accurately communicate pertinent information to end users and management
• Conduct additional duties as assigned
• Utilize skills such as Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Claim Administration• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking.
• Experience with CRM systems for managing customer relationships and data.
• Expertise in Gap Analysis for assessing the disparity between business requirements and current capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word for creating and editing business documents.
• Knowledge of AB Testing for optimizing business processes and systems.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology for managing and planning projects.
• Understanding of Business Process Functions for evaluating and improving operational efficiency.
• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents.
• Experience in Claim Administration for managing insurance claims and settlements.
