Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Health Analyst. The Health Analyst (HA) will be a key participant in the Domestic Violence Services for All (DVSFA) program implementation, contract/program developments, and amendments in addition to, but not limited to collaborating closely with the DVSFA Contract Monitoring unit, providing guidance to Contract Program Auditor staff (i.e., ensuring agency contract compliance, reviewing, and evaluating agency Risk Assessments, budget requests/modifications and expenditure reallocations; reviewing/analyzing County, federal and state laws/regulations related to contract revenue, reimbursement, and expenditure; assist in the implementation and refining of applicable policy/procedures relative to this specific area and meet target projects, i.e., the development of a DVSFA Procedural Manual, a working document to provide assistance with staff onboarding/training and to stand as a future reference guide. The HA will also provide DV contractor technical assistance and guidance re: contract interpretation, appropriate billing, documentation, and invoice submission. The HA will also assist the DVSFA Director with the development and implementation plan for enhancement of working relationships, in the building and expanding capacity with our DV community partnerships.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 6/30/2025 with potential extension.
Pay Rate-
$46.90/hr

Shift: Hybrid Position: 2-3 Days a Week in Office in Alhambra
Requirements:
  • Four years of experience in a staff capacity analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems of organization, program, procedure, budget, or personnel -OR- one year of highly responsible administrative or staff experience assisting in research and analysis of, and making recommendations regarding the use and deployment of resources and the implementation and refinement of operations and programs; and
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions
Skills/Experience:
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
  • Adaptability: Prior experience in a government or not-for-profit environment with governing regulations on financial controls.
  • Problem Solving: Proven strength in problem solving skills to proficiently apply appropriate analytical and research skills to sort, explain and offer resolution to complex issues.
  • Teamwork/Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated ability to foster and collaborate teamwork.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to employ effective time management principles in meeting deliverables with competing deadlines in an autonomous manner.
  • Technology: Working intermediate to expertise level skill in use of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
