We have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Maintenance Superintendent to lead the Maintenance teams at our Kanowna Belle Operations in Kalgoorlie. Reporting to the Processing Manager, join our esteemed team on a 5/2/4/3 (10 hour days) residential roster.
The successful applicant will reside in the Kalgoorlie Boulder Region. Here’s what awaits you: Provide leadership and direction to the site team that supports the business strategy and NST core values. Monitor maintenance work and projects to ensure maintenance work meets operational needs and NSR standards. Assist personnel by investigating maintenance problems, recommending solutions, providing technical direction and advice, aiding in the selection of equipment. Provide input into budget preparation and control costs by monitoring and explaining variances. Mentor, coach and develop succession plans for all critical positions and facilitate ongoing employee skills assessment and development. Day to day management of the Fixed Plant Maintenance functions and manage compliance of corporate policies and standards. Identifying opportunities that add value to the business by fostering continuous improvement across key functional groups within the Maintenance Department. The successful applicant will have a high level of demonstrated experience leading large teams including the capacity to motivate, mentor and influence others. A minimum of 5-10 years experience in fixed plant maintenance management, supervision and preventative maintenance programmes with 3-5 years hands on industrial maintenance experience. Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, cost management, planning and scheduling is highly regarded. Qualifications:
Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence, Trade qualification in a relevant field, and a tertiary qualification (minimum degree level) in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) highly regarded. Passion for Growth:
