Head of Demand Generation

to lead our efforts in driving growth and expanding our impact in K-12 education. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to empower educators and improve student outcomes by generating and nurturing leads through online and offline strategies, including multi-channel campaigns, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), partnerships, and events.

This role is crucial for driving revenue growth by aligning marketing strategies with our sales goals. As the leader of the demand generation team, you will work closely with Sales, Product, RevOps, and Customer Success to create a cohesive approach that effectively moves prospects through the funnel, ensuring schools and districts benefit from the value NoRedInk provides.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies focused on increasing awareness, generating leads, and growing the sales pipeline. Leverage ABM, complex sales cycle management, and multi-channel approaches to target the right prospects. Campaign Management:

Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns without being confined to specific channels. Collaborate with other teams (e.g., brand, partnerships, product marketing) to ensure seamless execution and the effective use of events and partnerships in campaign strategies. Lead Nurturing:

Implement strategies to engage and nurture leads throughout the buyer's journey, incorporating automation tools and personalized outreach to improve conversion rates. Analytics & Reporting:

Partner with Marketing Ops to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (MQLs, pipeline growth, conversion rates, revenue impact). Provide clear, concise reports and insights to executive leadership and the board, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of marketers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Provide professional development and coaching to ensure team success and alignment with organizational objectives. Customer-Centric Approach:

Lead customer-centric marketing efforts by crafting creative campaigns that capture the attention of K-12 executives and decision-makers in a crowded market. Understand what resonates with customers and design campaigns that solve their pain points. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Work in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing Ops to ensure demand generation efforts align with sales goals. Streamline processes around lead handoff, performance tracking, and funnel optimization. Budget Management:

Oversee and manage the demand generation budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a SaaS company. Expertise in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for marketing optimization and clear upward reporting. Proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth within the K-12 or EdTech market, or a similar space. Demonstrated experience with complex sales cycles, ABM strategies, and coordinating with partnerships and events. Excellent project management skills with experience leading large-scale campaigns and initiatives. Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience presenting to executives and cross-functional teams. Compensation at NoRedInk is robust and includes a full range of benefits, flexible PTO, monthly co-working stipends, an initial home-office set-up stipend, and generous equity. Our salary ranges are based on factors such as expectations in the job description, location-specific market data, internal parity, and the experience and skills of individual candidates. Therefore, the compensation range is $180,000 - $220,000 (inclusive of base and bonus), accounting for various locations and skills/expertise.
