Overview: The Government is seeking contractor personnel to provide various medical support services in support of the Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) at the Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Ft. Bliss, TX. Medical Support Staff will provide comprehensive medical assessments, treatments and readiness processing for troops being mobilized for deployment. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. This role is critical in supporting diagnostic testing and patient care.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood samples for testing.
- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Provide patients with information about the blood draw process, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after blood collection, providing appropriate care as needed.
- Assist with inventory management of supplies and equipment used in blood collection.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of NAACLS or two-part Phlebotomy program.
- A minimum of one year experience within the last three years working as a full-time phlebotomist in a hospital, blood-bank, or a pathology/laboratory environment.
- Must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only!); Note: BLS recertification shall be maintained in a current status at all times.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- An active Secret Clearance is required.
