You will be responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures, collecting and processing patient specimens, and ensuring a positive patient experience.Key Responsibilities: Phlebotomy: Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including infants, children, and the elderly. Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, answer questions, and provide clear explanations about procedures. Specimen Processing: Properly label, handle, and process blood specimens. Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality control standards and safety protocols. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and documentation.Required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in specific states). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Technical Skills: Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and knowledge of medical terminology. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patient populations. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
