We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the financial transaction processing industry at our Atlanta, Georgia location. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions, processing customer data, and maintaining customer relationships. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, resolving inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving customer issues and concerns
• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all customer information is accurate and up-to-date in our systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and correspondence
• Schedule appointments and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action as needed
• Maintain knowledge of our services and products to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and procedures
• Ensure all interactions and transactions adhere to company policies and regulations
• Use email as a means of communication and correspondence with customers
• Manage customer credit applications, processing them accurately and efficiently.• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment
• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls
• Demonstrable ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Familiarity with data entry tasks and order entry systems
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in email correspondence and ability to draft detail oriented emails
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively and efficiently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
