Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to handle high-volume customer inquiries at a semiconductor company. This role involves processing various customer requests, managing order entries, and maintaining a backlog aligned with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer support, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues. SAP experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Process requests for quotations by researching historic pricing and coordinating with the product line manager.
  • Manage order entry for new, return, and sample orders; process credits and debits as needed.
  • Maintain backlog to align with customer requirements and handle expedite requests.
  • Address customer complaints and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer-related issues.
  • Apply sound judgment within established guidelines to determine appropriate actions.
  • Build and maintain trust with both customers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer support.
  • Strong phone skills, active listening, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Team player with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; SAP experience is a plus.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service Representative role or similar position
• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services software
• Experience with Concur is highly desirable
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Ability to generate reports using Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of Data Processing is a plus
• Experience with About Time software is beneficial
• Comfortable in answering inbound calls and addressing customer inquiries
• Understanding of buying processes and cash activity
• Experience in cash handling
• Familiarity with SAP system is a must
• Experience or knowledge in the Semiconductor Industry is highly desirable
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
