Description:

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Supply Chain and Logistics functions to ensure achievement and alignment with overall business goals. Will lead and develop initiatives to deliver significant cost, delivery, quality, and inventory improvement. This position involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies, leading initiatives to improve processes, and ensuring alignment across all functions. The role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on management to deliver results effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide Leadership for sourcing, purchasing, kitting, and receiving, outbound and inbound logistics and inventory management activities.

Understand pricing, market conditions, and assess risks for key products/commodities to develop sourcing strategies

Drive continuous improvement across the supply base in cost, quality, and delivery.

Evaluate and implement best practices to mitigate lost production time due to material availability.

Streamline processes to reduce lead time, labor, and freight with the goal of reducing inventory and costs

Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's goals.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the supply chain.

Develop inventory strategies to ensure the right inventory at right the time

Oversee the use and optimization of the ERP system (Epicor) within the Supply Chain function

Collaboration with all functional areas in support of company strategies, objectives, and customer requirements

Analyze performance metrics and facilitate appropriate actions to achieve business goals

Manage departmental budget

Actively participate in the monthly SIOP process

Coach and develop team members

Perform other various duties as required

Requirements:

Required degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or other related field

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Excellent sourcing and negotiating skills

Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to train as well as lead

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead with a sense of urgency

Proven success in improving processes and leading change

Experience working across cross-functional teams

Exhibits positive behaviors with a customer-centric approach

Strong working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
