We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Tucson, Arizona. As part of our team, you will be working in the financial industry, utilizing your skills in various accounting functions, accounts payable and receivable, property management accounting, and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems such as ADP and Ceridian for various accounting tasks
• Managing and processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, ensuring all entries and operations are correctly executed
• Utilizing QuickBooks for managing and processing accounting transactions
• Using Property Management Accounting for property-related financial tasks
• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary
• Using Concur and other ERP systems for efficient management of financial transactions• Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions is essential
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Knowledge of Property Management Accounting is of great importance
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary
• Proven experience in an accounting specialist role or a similar position is desirable
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is expected
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, is crucial
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
• The capability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and effectively is necessary.
