Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee general accounting functions such as direct bill and agency bill reconciliation, accounts payable, acquisition accounting, general ledger, and commissions accounting
• Conduct year-end financial audit activities and collaborate with external auditors to ensure accurate closing and reporting
• Evaluate current practices and procedures, and propose recommendations for enhancements
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure their accuracy and completeness
• Handle ad hoc analysis and projects as required
• Supervise general ledger accounting functions and develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Expertise in utilizing Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Proficiency in managing accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, and billing functions
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting managerial role.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary, US GAAP
• Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur software is desirable.
• Should have a strong understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Proficiency in all Accounting Functions.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory.
• Should possess strong auditing skills.
• Must have experience in Billing Functions.
• Should have excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Must have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is desirable or MBA
