We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. In this role, you will be primarily supporting the controller, engaging in a reconciliation project, and handling various accounting tasks. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Handle numerous accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in a comprehensive reconciliation project, which involves significant data entry and transaction matching.
• Collaborate closely with the controller on the reconciliation of escrow and trust accounts.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of banking transactions.
• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Resolve any transaction-related issues that may arise.
• Employ your accounting experience to understand and carry out the basics of account reconciliation.
• Use your expertise in Excel to manage and analyze data.
• Conduct research as needed to support accounting tasks.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately
• Experience in handling Banking Transactions
• Knowledge of Account Transaction processes
