Job Description
We are in the search of an Accounting Manager to join a team located near Rochester, New Hampshire. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial services. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Manage the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
• Use accounting software systems for tracking and managing financial transactions
• Handle billing functions to ensure all invoices are issued to customers on time
• Oversee and manage the inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Manage and track fixed assets of the company
• Manage NetSuite operations to streamline business processes and functions
• Must have expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Knowledge in Billing Functions is crucial
• Proficiency in using NetSuite is a must
• Must possess a deep understanding of General Ledger operations
• Familiarity with Fixed Assets accounting is important
• Experience in Inventory Accounting is preferred
