We are in search of a Project Accounting Specialist to join our team in the construction industry in San Jose, California. The role involves managing several accounting tasks, such as account reconciliation and invoice processing. Responsibilities:


• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner

• Carrying out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Handling billing activities to ensure timely invoicing of customers for services provided

• Conducting data entry tasks as needed to keep all accounting records up-to-date and accurate

• Utilizing accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline accounting processes

• Leveraging Microsoft Excel to maintain organized accounting records and conduct financial analyses

• Collaborating with the accounting team to improve processes and maintain financial efficiency

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts and billing

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action in case of discrepancies or issues.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) practices
• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP software
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Previous experience in the Construction/Contractor industry is beneficial
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
