We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Denver, Colorado, United States. In this role, you will be a key player in the Finance sector, focusing on maintaining financial accuracy and complying with the regulations of non-profit grant accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely and accurate billing for grants
• Maintain a clear understanding and adherence to the terms, conditions, and requirements of funding contracts
• Keep track of expenditure as mandated by the grant
• Assist in the collation of materials for audits conducted by both internal and external auditors
• Perform other necessary duties as required
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation tasks• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must be skilled in Billing processes and procedures
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is expected
• Experience in Grant Accounting is necessary
