We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team based in Roseville, California. This role involves overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial information.


Job Duties include:


Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and CFO to implement Board goals and policies.

  • Liaise with auditors for year-end book closing and prepare work papers for audits.
  • Record cash transactions, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and manage cash balances.
  • Reconcile accounts payable, receivable, petty cash, and credit cards.
  • Record journal entries for accrued expenses, cost allocations, amortization, and deferred revenue.
  • Assist with payroll entries, create payables, and back up the Payroll Manager.
  • Help CFO track revenues from County, State, and Federal agencies.
  • Work with school administrators on spending plans and track related expenses.
  • Generate purchase orders, review invoices, and resolve vendor billing issues.
  • Maintain professional growth through training and abide by Board policies.
  • Participate in activities to support scholars and the Academy’s objectives.
  • Perform similar duties as required.


--Bachelors Degree preferred
