Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist for a long-term temporary position through October 2025. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions while supporting daily operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance Credit Union transactions daily and organize branch work twice per week.
  • Post daily entries
  • Process loan recovery checks received from the collections.
  • Reconcile and balance Mobile Deposit activity.
  • Balance and post daily debit card transactions.
  • Post mortgage checks and ensure accuracy in the corresponding general ledger accounts (GLs).
  • Balance coin machine activity daily.
  • Review and audit ACH transaction code postings.
  • Reconcile Bill Matrix Receivable and Suspense GLs.
  • Post and balance daily credit card transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union operations is a plus.

Employment Type: Long-term temporary through October 2025
