Tandym Group is hiring: Accounting Manager - BDC in Miami Beach

A financial services company in Miami is actively seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join their staff as their new Accounting Manager. Working alongside Senior and Executive-level staff, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the third-party fund administrator with regard to the accounting and financial reporting for various private funds.

Responsibilities:

The Accounting Manager will:

• Monitor the third-party fund administrator to ensure that that all transactions have been properly recorded
• Review management fee, incentive fee and waterfall computations by the Administrator and prepare parallel schedules
• Manage the execution of capital calls & distributions
• Prepare and review partner allocations and quarterly investor capital account statements
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and manage with the audit process
• Work closely with the Liability Management team to manage liquidity and borrowing base compliance
• Work closely with the Investor Relations team providing data to assist with quarterly performance reporting and ad hoc requests for potential investors and products.
• Perform other duties, as needed

• 7+ years of Accounting experience in the Financial Service industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
