A financial services company in Miami is actively seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join their staff as their new Accounting Manager. Working alongside Senior and Executive-level staff, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the third-party fund administrator with regard to the accounting and financial reporting for various private funds.
Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager will:Monitor the third-party fund administrator to ensure that that all transactions have been properly recordedReview management fee, incentive fee and waterfall computations by the Administrator and prepare parallel schedulesManage the execution of capital calls & distributionsPrepare and review partner allocations and quarterly investor capital account statementsPrepare annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and manage with the audit processWork closely with the Liability Management team to manage liquidity and borrowing base complianceWork closely with the Investor Relations team providing data to assist with quarterly performance reporting and ad hoc requests for potential investors and products.Perform other duties, as neededQualifications
7+ years of Accounting experience in the Financial Service industryBachelor's Degree in AccountingMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
