Finance & Accounting Administrator
Department: Finance Team
Reporting To: Finance & Risk Analyst II, and Executive Leadership Team
Location: HQ – Fountain Inn, SC
Job Description:
At United Catalyst Corporation, we’re dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions for the recovery of Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) from automotive catalysts and electronic waste. We’re looking for a dedicated Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our team and support our mission of sustainable resource recovery and profitability.
The Finance & Accounting Administrator will play a key role in managing supplier invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and revenue and profitability analysis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong Excel and Power BI skills, a background in finance/accounting, and experience (or a willingness to learn) in systems like Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Creation & Management
- Accurately create and process supplier invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payment terms.
- Assist with the end-to-end Accounts Payable (A/P) process, including invoice uploads, reconciliation, and timely issue resolution.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (A/R).Support the A/R process, including generating customer invoices, tracking payments, and managing collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all receivables transactions.
Revenue & Profitability Analysis
- Conduct revenue and profitability trend analysis using Excel and Power BI.
- Support the finance team in preparing periodic financial reports and forecasting models.
- Analyze key financial metrics and provide insights into cost and revenue drivers to support decision-making.
Data Management & Reporting
- Regularly update financial data and support reporting tasks in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather and interpret data, contributing to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and formula functions.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and trend analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks Online or willingness to learn.
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
