The Lead Accounting Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage daily accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to support financial integrity and compliance.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial data, reports, and forecasts to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Review, analyze, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses to audit inquiries.
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior accounting staff to support professional growth and development.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, as needed, for financial services and compliance matters.
The Lead Accounting Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
