Job Description
We are working with a fantastic company in Ponte Vedra in search of an Accounting Analyst. This person will be responsible for managing tasks in accounts payable, general accounting, and system integrations, as well as taking over as a team lead for the department. This position will start as a contract with the intention of becoming permanent after six months. Experience working with Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics, and knowledge of software implementations/integrations is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
Verify invoices, expense reports, and process vendor payments
Analyze general expenses and help identify cost saving measures
Assist accounting in maintaining internal controls
Review operating expenses to ensure correct coding and alignment with budget
Recommend improvements to existing accounting policies
Work closely with management on new system testing and integrations
Qualifications
Proficiency with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, or D365
3+ years of experience in general accounting and/or accounts payable
Bachelor's degree is preferred, not required
Intermediate Excel skills
Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
